Follow the pattern of responsiveness throughout the Nativity of our Lord.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The shepherds came and found Mary, Joseph, and the baby<\/strong>. They followed the Heavenly announcement and found the Christ child.\u00a0\u00a0This represents the heart of faith: taking God at His word.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>The shepherds obeyed the message they received, just as both Mary and Joseph obeyed from within their own encounter with God<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0This represents personal faith:\u00a0\u00a0taking God at His Word in the midst of our present circumstance.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Shepherds responded by going and telling, and then returning and worshipping.\u00a0\u00a0Mary responded by treasuring and pondering the entire event deep in her heart<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0This represents the activity of faith: responding in body and soul to the truth experienced.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>When we revisit the manger, we see a significant picture of faith in Jesus Christ.\u00a0\u00a0The heart of faith comes before Jesus in worship.
