Truths from Philippians, Chapter 1 that will encourage you today:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u201c<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>I thank my God every time I remember you.\u00a0In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy\u00a0because of your partnership\u00a0in the gospel from the first day\u00a0until now.\u201d (Philippians 1:3-5)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Take time to recognize how God is fulfilling His perfect will in the life of another.\u00a0\u00a0And, take a moment to encourage that person.\u00a0\u00a0There is no doubt that your words of encouragement will be both timely and deeply necessary.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

\u00a0\u201c<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.\u201d (Philippians 1:6)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

God does not begin a work at random.\u00a0\u00a0That which He has begun in your life will in no way be left incomplete.\u00a0\u00a0He will perfect His work in you.\u00a0\u00a0Today, do not be discouraged, child of God.\u00a0\u00a0He is definitely at work in you.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cAnd this is my prayer: that your love\u00a0may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,\u00a0so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.\u201d (Philippians 1:9-10)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Today, walk fervently in Christian love \u2013 loving God and loving others well.\u00a0\u00a0Allow the truth and insight God blesses you with through His Word to guide you as you look for what is excellent and pleasing in God\u2019s sight.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

\u201cFilled with the fruit of righteousness\u00a0that comes through Jesus Christ\u2014to the glory and praise of God.\u201d (Philippians 1:11)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Realize that the greatest measure of effectiveness in our work for the Lord is not actually something of our basic labor or humanly created energy, but of the Spirit\u2019s Work within us.\u00a0\u00a0We labor fervently, but not as one who produces good things of our own accord.\u00a0\u00a0We labor as one who walks in harmony with the Holy Spirit.\u00a0\u00a0The fruit of righteousness that can only come from Jesus becomes manifested in us and unto God for His glorious praise.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The common theme in the reflections of the above truths centers on God\u2019s undeniable work within the lives of His children.\u00a0\u00a0Through His Holy Spirit and your relationship with Jesus, God is active in you.\u00a0\u00a0He is performing His perfect pleasure.\u00a0\u00a0You may not see the fullness of His work, and you may not always understand how He is accomplishing His desired end, but I assure you He is at work for His glorious purposes within you at this very moment.\u00a0\u00a0So, take heart.\u00a0\u00a0Be encouraged.\u00a0\u00a0And, encourage others around you.\u00a0\u00a0We are indeed blessed.<\/p>\n\n

Today,\u00a0\u201cgrace and peace to you from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Philippians 1:2).<\/p>\n\n
